Some theories lean to linguistics, some to social and political sciences. The common idea among them, however, is to explore the socio-political discourses governing the text through exploring the signs. Mauffe and Laclao’s discourse analysis theory is based more on social and political sciences and emphasizes the fluidity of sins.
