Children's education in any society is a very important issue. Therefore, we must apply appropriate methods and tools to instruct and encourage children to recognize there values. Stories as literary tools are the best way to develop the cognitive, educational, ideological and aesthetic nature of children. A novelist writes the story on the basis of specific technical features. But in child-stories using these features are different. This article by descriptive and analytic method examines some of technical features of the story "Safirat-al-qamar" by Kamel-al-Kilani. These features include event, time, place, characters and language. Kamel-al-Kilani in using these technical features, considered the abilities of the child. Therefore the events are not complicated in his story. And the author creates characters for children. Also the time and place of the story is understandable for the child to communicate with it. And the language of the story is within the framework of the abilities of child. Kamel-al-Kilani alsohas provided some examples of training and values in this story.
