The identity is the more important pillar of the human personality or the answer to this question: "who is the man" The political, social and cultural factors threatened the identity in the present world. And emerged in literary effects and in especially in the poems of contemporary poets. The political and social crisis conditions in Iraq cause emergence identity crisis in the contemporary literature of this country. Adnan –Al-Sayegh – the Iraqi contemporary poet is a part of this literature. He reflects the various aspects of identity crisis in this poem. Our purpose in this article is the investigation in to the aspects of identity crisis in the poems of this Iraqi immigrant poet.
